About Me

My photo
Me? I'm just a jolly old gent who gets a kick out of life and loves to write. I'm hiding out in Northern Minnesota on my secluded 25 acres of God's beautiful, green, but occasionally swampy earth. I love to write, and I'm currently authoring several published novels in the areas of mystery/romance, plus in the near future an upcoming JFK conspiracy, a western, and even a kid’s novel! Check my blog for details as I complete them; it takes a while ‘cause I do everything; including, writing, editing and cover creation. The most recently published is a cute, quirky mystery/romance novel by the name of "The Rings". It's light on the explicit romance stuff, so if you're lookin' for that stuff, don't look here. But if you’re lookin’ for novels that are heavy into everything else that makes a fun story, then my books might be just what you want. I could explain it this way; my stories are like visiting a chocolate store that’s full of goodies; where after you open the door (page one), you'll want to stay, sampling and then devouring everything that’s hidden inside. In any case, have fun in whatever you do—I do.

Jennie Book 1 photos

The following series of photos are presented for your viewing in conjunction with your reading of Jennie-Book one, Part 1.  I hope it will help you to follow and more thoroughly enjoy the beginning chapters of the book.  FIY, except for approximately 25 pages, this book takes place mostly in Minnesota.

Duluth map of the area where Steve met Jennie, and the events of the first day occured.

Jennie's Beach as it appears in 2010 and from the approximate viewpoint of Steve when he took Jennie's photo.

Beach from waterlevel view.  Large, new appartment buildings are located beyond the yellowish leaved trees.

View looking up the steps toward the trail and the interstate bridge.

East end of Lakewalk trail near the small parking lot.

View looking south along the trail at the location of the wreck.
The car launched over the bridge rail and landed near the blue barrel,
which was the approx. site of the bench.  The RR tracks are
located behind the black picket fence.

View north toward Jennie's Beach, which is located this side of the yellow trees.

Opening in the fence and bank where Jennie nearly fell into the river.
And where Steve did fall (was pushed) into the water.  That's my wife Susie.

Goosberry Falls, upper and lower falls.

This is the beaver pond where our couple saw the family of Mallard ducks.
